Some Start-of-the-Month Inspiration

I’m often asked to define the meaning of life, and I always say, ‘It’s what you make it.’ For most of history and, alas, still today, we’ve been told there’s a one-size-fits-all answer. But there are many ways in which lives can be meaningful – you don’t have to write the great novel or symphony. It might be to plant a garden, be a good parent, do your work well or be kindly to people. Our lives are less than 1,000 months long, and we spend at least a third of that in the shower or Tesco. We must make the most of it.
